What To Expect
Male breast reduction in San Jose can address excess fat, excess glandular tissue, or both. Depending on what is causing gynecomastia, several different techniques can be used.
- Dr. Bates and Dr. Maser may use liposuction if your gynecomastia is caused primarily by excess fat.
- Surgical removal, or excision, may be necessary if glandular tissue, excess fat, and excess skin are the primary concerns. Excision also will be required if your areolas and nipples need to be reduced or repositioned.
