Restylane, Perlane® & JUVÉDERM
These products use an active ingredient called hyaluronic acid to plump the skin from within. Hyaluronic acid is produced naturally by our bodies and serves many purposes, including keeping tissues hydrated and supple. When administered as a filler, hyaluronic acid works by both increasing volume and attracting water molecules to the skin in the treated area. This creates additional firmness and a generally more youthful texture and tone. While the most popular treatment areas for these fillers are the nasolabial folds and other lines around the mouth, our providers can use them to selectively improve a variety of lines and areas of lost volume, such as the lips or under the eyes. The results of these products typically last between 6 and 9 months.
JUVÉDERM VOLUMA XC
This is the first filler FDA-approved specifically to treat lost volume in the cheeks. JUVÉDERM VOLUMA XC also uses hyaluronic acid to achieve its purpose, but it is specially formulated for deeper injection. In addition to adding volume to the cheeks, VOLUMA can create a subtly lifted appearance for a more complete outcome. JUVÉDERM® VOLUX® XC
